Job Extravaganza

Learning Zone, Inc. has partnered with the MS Department of Rehabilitation Services (MDRS) to provide Job Extravaganzas throughout Mississippi to students with documented disabilities, whether through an IEP or 504 Plan. Students ages 14-21 are eligible to attend. These Job Extravaganzas will offer job simulation booths for students with disabilities, premiering businesses in Mississippi. We will also provide snacks and lunch for teachers and the following breakout sessions in the afternoon: Self-Advocacy, Workplace Readiness, Work-based Learning Experiences, and Postsecondary Training. The time will be from 9am-2pm.

MDRS Registration/Referral Process: Normally, approval is about 30 days
